Your trade matters to us
At an established house, a mid-size inquiry sits behind larger accounts. Here, every inquiry gets senior attention because every relationship we build now sets the trajectory of the business.
An international industrial commodities trading company specializing in the sourcing, procurement and global distribution of aluminum and other non-ferrous metal products.
We are not a mill and we are not a warehouse. We are the counterparty that makes a cross-border metals transaction actually complete.
Egyptalum Company works with qualified manufacturers, producers and distributors to supply aluminum and non-ferrous metal products to industrial customers worldwide. Our value is in the connective work — matching a requirement to a source that can genuinely meet it, negotiating terms that hold up, coordinating movement of the cargo where the agreed Incoterms place that with us, producing a document set that clears customs and satisfies the bank, and structuring payment so both parties are protected.
That work is unglamorous and it is where most international trades fail. It is deliberately what we have organized the company around.
We are registered in the State of South Carolina and operate from Moncks Corner, roughly 30 miles inland from the Port of Charleston. Being close to a deepwater container port matters more than it sounds: it shortens the drayage leg, it keeps us within reach of the terminal when a booking needs fixing in person, and it puts us in the same time zone as most of our US customers while still overlapping the European working day.
Formal details furnished on request to prospective counterparties.
You will find no decades-long client list on this site, because we do not have one yet. What we would rather do is be specific about what you actually get.
At an established house, a mid-size inquiry sits behind larger accounts. Here, every inquiry gets senior attention because every relationship we build now sets the trajectory of the business.
No account-management layer between you and the person negotiating your contract. Questions get answered by someone who can actually change the terms.
We are not tied to sources we have to keep feeding volume. We go to the market that fits your specification and your delivery window.
We do not ask you to take our word for it. Payment security, inspection rights and quality remedies are written into the contract, where they are enforceable.
A trial shipment on a secure payment instrument is a reasonable way to begin, and we would rather you did that than take a large first position on trust.
If your specification, route or timeline is not something we can deliver properly, we say so at the inquiry stage instead of finding out mid-shipment.
A price quoted against a loose description is not a real price. We fix grade, standard, tolerance, packing and delivery basis first — then quote something we can stand behind.
Every transaction is documented in a sales contract covering quality, quantity tolerance, price basis, Incoterm, payment instrument, inspection rights, force majeure and dispute resolution. No handshake trades.
We check production capacity, quality systems and export documentation capability before putting a producer in front of a customer. A supplier we cannot verify is not a supplier we offer.
We screen counterparties and destinations against applicable sanctions and export-control requirements, and decline business that cannot be conducted lawfully — including where scrap or waste-shipment rules do not permit the movement.
Delays and quality issues happen in physical trade. Our commitment is that you hear about them from us as soon as we know, with options attached — not after the vessel has sailed.
Specifications, volumes, pricing and supplier identities are treated as commercially confidential. We will sign an NDA before a detailed discussion if you prefer.
Metals trade sits inside a dense regulatory perimeter: sanctions, export controls, customs valuation, waste-shipment law and destination conformity requirements.
We treat that perimeter as a design constraint rather than an afterthought. Counterparties and end destinations are screened before contracting. Origin is documented. Where a movement requires a license or a notification — particularly for scrap and secondary raw materials — it is obtained before the cargo books, not chased afterwards.
Manufacturers who need a reliable input stream at a defined specification: extruders, rolling mills, foundries, fabricators, cable makers and construction suppliers.
Regional stockists and trading houses looking for a dependable counterparty on specific lots, back-to-back trades or supply into markets they do not cover directly.
Mills, smelters and processors with capacity to place, who want export routes handled — documentation, freight and payment security — without building that function in-house.
Whether you are buying, selling or brokering, send us the detail and we will respond with a straight assessment.
